Quick answer

A standard one-off clean of a 2+kk flat in Prague costs 1,000–1,400 CZK according to the price lists of Ohayno, CleanWhale and FlyClean; a 1+kk costs 800–1,049 CZK and a 3+kk 1,467–1,800 CZK (travel extra, Ohayno excl. VAT). An hourly cleaner costs roughly 890–1,090 CZK for 3 hours.

What does apartment cleaning cost in Prague? It depends on the flat’s layout, the type of clean and who does it – a company or an independent cleaner. We went through the public price lists of Prague cleaning companies (as of 14 October 2026) and compared them with paying a cleaner from the HledámÚklid catalogue by the hour. Below are prices for 1+kk to 4+kk flats, typical cleaning times and the extra costs that are easy to miss.

What 1+kk, 2+kk and 2+1 mean

Czech listings describe flats by layout. The first number is the number of rooms; “kk” stands for a kitchenette (kuchyňský kout) inside a living room, and “+1” means a separate kitchen. So a 1+kk is a studio, a 2+kk is a one-bedroom flat with an open-plan kitchen, and a 2+1 has two rooms plus a separate kitchen. The layout says nothing about floor area, which is why some companies price by number of rooms or by square metres instead.

Apartment cleaning prices by flat size: company price lists

Companies that charge per flat ask from 800 CZK for a 1+kk to about 2,200 CZK for a 4+kk for a standard one-off clean. Most prices are “from” and differ in what they include:

Standard one-off clean; price lists retrieved 14 October 2026. CleanWhale prices by number of rooms (1/2/3), so the match to layouts is approximate.

FlyCleanfrom 950 CZKfrom 1,400 CZKfrom 1,800 CZKfrom 2,200 CZKVAT-registered; travel with supplies 870 CZK

Including VAT, Ohayno comes to 968 CZK (1+kk), 1,210 CZK (2+kk) and 1,876 CZK (3+kk) by our calculation, with one bathroom included. FlyClean adds 870 CZK for travel, which it waives if you provide your own products and equipment. Other companies price by area or by household size:

  • Ukliď mi (standard one-off clean): up to 55 m² from 1,650 CZK, up to 90 m² from 2,100 CZK, up to 110 m² from 2,300 CZK. Products included, travel within Prague from 500 CZK, VAT not stated.
  • Cleaning Magic (regular clean): up to 30 m² 1,450 CZK, up to 50 m² 1,750 CZK, up to 70 m² 2,350 CZK, up to 100 m² 2,950 CZK. VAT not stated.
  • Youklid (by household size, one bathroom): 1–2 people 3 hours for 1,530 CZK, 3 people 1,750 CZK, 4 people 1,970 CZK, all including VAT.
  • CleanWork24, which works in English, lists regular cleaning from 2,100 CZK including supplies and travel within Prague; VAT is not stated.

What an hourly cleaner costs for your flat

Cleaners in the HledámÚklid catalogue usually charge by the hour; typical rates are 300–360 CZK/h (as of 14 October 2026). The price for your flat then depends on how many hours the clean takes:

Time = figures from Ohayno, CleanWhale and Ukliď mi for a standard clean. Price = typical HledámÚklid rates × hours, excluding travel and supplies.
LayoutStandard clean: time according to companiesHourly cleaner (approximate)
1+kk1.5–3 hours600–730 CZK for 2 hours
2+kk2.5–4 hours890–1,090 CZK for 3 hours
3+kk3–5 hours1,190–1,450 CZK for 4 hours
4+kk6–7 hours1,790–2,180 CZK for 6 hours

By our calculation, companies that charge per flat work out at roughly 290–510 CZK per hour of work: CleanWhale charges 1,467 CZK for a three-room flat cleaned in 5 hours, Youklid 1,530 CZK including VAT for 3 hours. With an independent cleaner you pay only for the hours worked, and if she is not VAT-registered, her rate is final.

How long apartment cleaning takes

There is no official time standard for home cleaning in the Czech Republic; the European standard EN 13549 covers quality measurement, not time. The times above come from companies, and even they disagree: Ohayno gives 4–5 hours and 5 hours for a 3+kk on different pages. The biggest factors are:

  • Type of clean. A deep clean of a flat up to 55 m² takes 3.5 hours at Ukliď mi instead of 2.5 hours for a standard clean.
  • Condition of the flat. Ohayno adds 30–60 minutes for heavier dirt or extra services.
  • Bathrooms and extras. Company prices usually assume one bathroom; windows, oven, fridge and ironing are charged separately.
  • Number of cleaners. Ukliď mi quotes 6 hours for one person or 4 hours for two in a flat up to 140 m².

Agree an estimate in advance

Send the cleaner your layout, floor area, number of bathrooms, a few photos and a task list. She can then estimate the hours, so you know the price up front. According to Hlídačky.cz, a regular clean most often takes 3 hours.

Deep cleaning and move-out cleaning by flat size

A deep clean costs considerably more than a standard one. By our calculation from the price lists, a flat of about 50 m² costs 2,200–6,250 CZK, or 44–125 CZK per m²:

Deep clean, one-off; price lists retrieved 14 October 2026.
CompanyFlat up to 50–55 m²Flat up to 90–100 m²VAT and travel
Ukliď mifrom 2,200 CZK (up to 55 m²)from 2,700 CZK (up to 90 m²)VAT not stated, travel from 500 CZK
Cleaning Magic3,250 CZK (up to 50 m²)4,350 CZK (up to 100 m²)VAT not stated, products included
Ksena125 CZK/m²100 CZK/m² (51–100 m²)excl. VAT, minimum 2,000 CZK + travel 1,000 CZK

For move-out cleaning, Ohayno publishes prices by layout: 1+kk from 1,150 CZK (about 3 hours), 2+kk from 1,450 CZK (about 4 hours), 3+kk from 2,150 CZK (about 6.5 hours), excluding VAT and window cleaning. What a deep clean includes is covered in Deep cleaning: what’s included and what it costs.

Hidden costs: VAT, travel, supplies and surcharges

  • 21% VAT. Household cleaning has been taxed at the standard rate since 1 January 2024. Convert “excl. VAT” prices; a cleaner who is not VAT-registered does not add it.
  • Travel. FlyClean 870 CZK, Ukliď mi from 500 CZK, Ksena 1,000 CZK; Ohayno includes travel within Prague.
  • Weekends and dirt. Ukliď mi charges +50% on Saturdays, +100% on Sundays and holidays and +30% for heavy soiling.
  • Regular cleaning is cheaper. Ohayno cleans a 1+kk for 650 CZK instead of 800 CZK on a subscription; CleanWhale cleans a one-room flat weekly for 839 CZK instead of 1,049 CZK.

How to get an exact price for your flat

  1. Note the layout, floor area and number of bathrooms, and decide between a standard and a deep clean.
  2. Take photos of the kitchen, bathroom and windows; they make estimates more accurate.
  3. Get a rough figure from our cleaning price calculator.
  4. Post a cleaning request with these details. The cleaner who accepts it confirms her rate and estimated hours in the chat; her profile shows which languages she speaks.
  5. After the clean, pay the cleaner directly for the hours worked, with no commission to the platform.

Post a cleaning request

Describe your flat once and cleaners nearby will respond. 39 CZK is charged only when one of them accepts.
