Quick answer

Regular cleaning is recurring house cleaning (once a week, once every two weeks or once a month) done by the same cleaner. In Prague it costs 150–250 CZK/h; any discount for regular visits you agree with the cleaner. A 60 m² flat takes about 1.5 h. It includes mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom and changing the bed linen.

Regular cleaning is the most popular household service. The reason: consistency (the same cleaner who knows your home) and peace of mind (you know what comes when).

What regular cleaning includes

A standard regular clean of a 60 m² flat takes 1.5–2 h and includes:

  • Mopping the floors in all rooms
  • Vacuuming carpets + parquet
  • Dusting surfaces (cupboards, shelves, tables, monitors)
  • Kitchen — hob, sink, worktops, fridge exterior
  • Bathroom + toilet — bath/shower, washbasin, mirrors, tiles
  • Changing the bed linen (if you have it ready)
  • Taking out the rubbish
  • Watering plants (on request)

What is NOT included (typically): window cleaning, cleaning inside appliances (oven, freezer), carpet cleaning with the extraction method, ironing. You can book these extras for an additional charge or choose a “deep clean” once every six months.

How to choose the frequency

Once a week (ideal for families with children)

If you have children or pets, or work from home (more dirt, more mess), once a week is the sweet spot — shorter regular cleans tend to be quicker than an occasional big one.

Once every two weeks (the most common choice)

Right for most Prague households. It suits couples or singles with a regular work routine.

Once a month (the minimum for most)

For singles or couples who travel a lot or can keep things tidy between visits.

Tip

Start with once every two weeks. After a month you’ll see whether you need more or less. You can change the frequency at any time directly with the cleaner.

How much it costs — a real example

60 m² flat, regular cleaning once every two weeks, hourly rate 220 CZK:

  • Price per clean: 220 × 1.5 h = 330 CZK
  • Per month (2 visits): 660 CZK
  • Per year (26 visits): 8,580 CZK
  • You pay the cleaner directly; the platform takes no commission from the cleaning

How to start with regular cleaning

  1. Choose a cleaner in your city (filter by rating and price)
  2. Send her a direct offer with the details (m², number of rooms, pets, allergies) — the 39 CZK is charged only once the cleaner accepts it
  3. Arrange the first clean as a one-off (“trial”). Decide afterwards.
  4. If you’re happy, agree on a regular schedule with the cleaner (weekly, every two weeks, monthly).
  5. The first regular clean takes place according to your schedule, with the same cleaner.

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch cleaners if I’m not happy?+

Yes, at any time. Let your current cleaner know and find another one in the catalogue. The platform doesn’t tie you to any commitment. To avoid a gap in cleaning, arrange things with the new cleaner before you end the cooperation with the current one.

What if I go on holiday — do I still have to pay?+

No. You agree on a break directly with the cleaner — the platform charges no penalty. When you’re back, get in touch with her and carry on.

I can’t be at home — how do I handle that?+

Three options: (1) give the cleaner your keys (typically after 3–4 visits, once you’ve built up trust), (2) leave the keys with a concierge / neighbour, (3) a smart lock + a one-time PIN. Ask the cleaner to message you when she arrives and leaves.
